Welcome!

After so many years of consulting with the owner’s of Healthcare businesses one-on-one or in small groups, I finally decided to jump into the 21st century and try my hand at blogging. Could be interesting – at least I hope so for you. Without a doubt, every business owner in every industry is reeling from the current world wide economic storm. What does it mean for you as the owner of a Healthcare company who just might be contemplating the sale of his/her company during the storm? That’s just one of the many topics this weekly blog will cover in the days and weeks ahead. We will dive into other topics such as:

How will my business be valued?
Who will buy my business?
What kind of deal terms can I expect?
How long will it take to sell my business?
Is there any money out there to finance a transaction?
How can I keep it confidential from my customers and employees?
What should I be doing today if I want to sell in 1 – 3 – 5 years?

The world of business is changing and at a breathtaking rate of acceleration. Where are you heading? Which route will you take? Each stage of your businesses’ life requires unique resources and knowledge. As a business owner, what steps can you take to protect your company? How do you prosper at each stage even in uncertain times? Which exit will you take and how does that affect the ultimate value of the enterprise?
